Something Worthwhile

My Dad took Jenna and me camping on my birthday.  I really enjoyed spending time with my Dad and my sister.
When we got home from camping, Mom had a cake and present waiting for me.  We had a party. I liked time spent with my family.
That night, I wanted to do something with my Mom.  Dad took me camping, now I wanted to do something with my Mom.
I decided that I wanted to go to Starbucks with her.  She said, "Not tonight because I don't have the extra money to spend."  I told her I wanted to pay for it.
I took my Mom out and we went to Starbucks.  I bought her coffee, the flavor she likes.  I had bought myself a Caramel Apple Spice.  It was really good.  We played a game of Scrabble while enjoying our drinks.  It was very nice.
It was a fun 12th birthday for me.  I enjoyed camping with my Dad and Jenna, and taking Mom out on my birthday!  I really liked paying for Mom's drink, and for mine as well.  I felt happy inside.  I felt like I showed kindness.  I did something for someone else.  I was so happy.  I felt great!  Mom appreciated it and it was worthwhile to treat someone else, besides everyone paying for me.
It turned out to be a wonderful day.  I say that was one of my favorite birthdays ever!!!
