Something to Think About

     Some people find it okay to read anything they wish to.  It is okay to read books that you are interested in, but are they what you should be interested in?  Just because books are legal, and that we can read anything that's out there, does it make it right?  Do we have to read whatever is out there in this world?  Do you think those books are right, pure, holy to the Lord?
     I enjoy reading certain books.  I love reading the Bible, but I am also interested in reading romance novels or stories, adventures, and everyday life in the "Christian world" type of books,  like the Brio Girls series.  Did you know that adventure and romance are even in the Bible as well?  I do enjoy these kinds of books, but not all of them are pure.  I still need to be concerned about the messeges within some of these books.
     The question is, should certain books, or certain kinds of books, be banned from schools, libraries, people's "home-bookshelves", or even regular bookstores?  What do you think about this?  Would you ban certain books from some of these places?
     I will be honest, I think certain books should not be visible on bookshelves due to young people seeing the cover's of some inappropriate books.  If one young person, or even an adult, sees something on a cover of a book that is not pure, it really can take a toll on one's life.  Even certain movies, they should not be visible to the eyes.  They are just not moral.
     Books are not at all bad, but the messeges that are planted in some peoples' head's can lead a person astray.  I believe that people should be concerned about others than to be more concerned in pleasing their own heart's and mind's, or making money.
     Let God take control of your heart.  Let Him take control of what we think and say.  We need to come to Him for help when we are tempted by Satan.  He's the only way to eternity - to life.  He's the only way to happiness, and true happiness is found in and with Him.  'Jesus said to Him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me."
